VNU launches Channel Partner under license in Ukraine

VNU Business Media Europe's licensing and syndication division, VNU Global Publishing Partnerships (VNU GPP), has now launched its fourth b2b title, Channel Partner Ukraine. The first issue is out in November and the magazine is published under license through SoftPress Publishing House, who already publish 10 magazines in Ukraine with a total annual circulation of over 3 million copies.

Ian Bedwell, CEO of VNU GPP, said: "The Ukrainian computer market has seen tremendous development over the last ten years and has matured to a point where a title such as Channel Partner is the natural next step. As always, VNU has been careful to ensure that we partner with the right company and as such we are delighted that SoftPress are bringing this title to the market. VNU's channel expertise together with SoftPress's deep knowledge and understanding of the Ukrainian market is a perfect match".

Channel Partner Ukraine joins the growing number of channel magazines published under license from VNU. The VNU b2b portfolio is first with the most relevant, most accurate and hardest hitting news in the channel. It aims to be a business tool that enhances the prospects of the IT channel professional. News, analysis, channel research, technology information, in-depth features and dedicated 'How to Sell' and 'Focus' guides make these titles the most respected quality editorial newspapers in this sector.

Commenting on the launch, Ellina Shnurko-Tabakova, Publisher of Channel Partner Ukraine, said "Channel Partner is a natural extension to our already strong and growing portfolio of IT and Telecom titles. Written by Ukrainians for Ukrainians, this title will be at the heart of our national computer industry. We're excited about our cooperation with VNU Business Media and are convinced that together we will produce a winning title".
