Adicio Announces Winners of the 2006 Adicio Best Practices Awards

Carlsbad, CA (April 18, 2006) – Over 65 Adicio clients representing leading media and niche companies from around the world convened at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California on March 29 for Adicio’s 2nd annual Best Practices Awards, which were presented during Adicio’s annual Client Conference. Adicio, the leading developer of web-based classified advertising solutions, acknowledged exceptional client websites, followed by a presentation from each winner that demonstrated the best practice that helped them earn their award.  

“The Adicio Best Practices Awards recognize features, navigation, and functionalities, as well as the site’s ability to communicate with users, generate traffic and revenue, and work with other sites within Adicio’s networks of partner sites,” said Rick Miller, CEO of Adicio. “We are pleased to be able to honor our clients with these awards, and plan to continue with this tradition in the future.”  

CATEGORIES
The award categories grew from three in 2005 to nine this year. The categories are as follows:
Best Overall Site: Awarded to the site that exemplifies the best holistic approach, including print upsells and site promotion, with the revenue and traffic metrics that represent success. There are seven separate categories for Best Overall Site (Careers Levels I, II, and III, Motors, Real Estate, Niche, and International.)
Best Cross-Posting: Awarded to the Niche Site which has developed the most quality partnerships with other sites to reach a targeted pool of customers.
Best Site Promotion: Awarded to the Media Site that has attracted an increased number of visitors and revenues through the development of promotional initiatives including successful media kit pages, email promotions, and banner ads.
