Personal Computer World Goes Daily

The UK's first ever monthly PC magazine has broken new ground once again by transforming its news and reviews output from a monthly to daily online service in recognition of its expert readers information needs. All major news and reviews are now published on first, and subsequently collated for print publication at a later stage.

Not only does this ensure that Personal Computer World's industry standard reviews are available to consumers faster than ever before, but the new structure allows for a significant increase in the number of products reviewed, with the team no longer limited by the number of pages available in a magazine.

The team has also increased the number of blogs they write every day on the popular Test Bed, launched a Product of the Week podcast and began putting up image galleries for many of their reviews.

Commenting on the new structure Rob Jones, online editor-in-chief said "Our new structure allows us to get news and reviews out to market instantly and readers have been quick to take this up. In our first month of operation in January we saw an uplift of 15% for page views".
